13 Today!

Hi, hope you've had a good week and have some fun plans for the weekend.

My little boy becomes a teenager today and I have no idea where the years go!
I have made him a special golf card ( of course!) and then realised Pan (our little dog) hadn't made him a card...and she always does!!
So this is what she came up with....

Birthday Bash for the numbers cut at 4"
Embossed, gilding wax and diamond sparkles added.
Vintage banner die, More of my Favourite Sayings, All Around Holidays(star and pressie) all from My Creative Time.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend.

And to my gorgeous son...

Happy Birthday Ossian
Love you Loads

White on White Ornament Card

Hi, hope you had a great weekend.
Our lovely Julie is our host this week over at BBTB2 and she has asked us to make a white on white project.

I think white on white is so wintry and pretty!

I used Art Philosophy for the bauble at 6".
Dec 25th for the holly and Deck the Halls.
I glittered the words and embossed the background for lots of different texture.

I added rock candy crackle glaze with a little glitter for the holly.

Check out the amazing inspiration from the DT ladies and come and join in the fun.

Goal!

Hi Everyone! Hope you had a great weekend.
We had a few days away on a family golf and spa trip in wet Wales last week!
Didn't let the weather dampen our spirits though and still played golf everyday.

Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and our lovely leader, Susan, has chosen a football theme.
The men in my life support different football teams so I made a 'general' football card!!

I used Create a Friend for this one and added embossing and inking.
The DT ladies have lots to inspire you so do check them out and come and join in the fun.

BBTB2 Trick or Treat

Hi, Happy Monday! We are waking up to quite a storm here on the south coast of Britain!

Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and this week I am hosting the challenge, Halloween.
I made a luminaire with the Tom Holtz luminary die and decorated it with cricut cuts.

I used a combination of Create a Friend characters at 2"

The tree is Happy Hauntings at 2"

The DP is by MME - Mischievous.
Glossy accents and flower soft with a hot glue cobweb for texture.

I embossed the acetate windows, they just don't show so well in the piccies.

I added cauldrons and fence to the tealight.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time.
Click here to see my video tutorial for the luminaire.

Check out the DT's amazing inspiration and come and join in the fun.

Pumpkin Canvas

Hi, how are you doing? Hope you had a good weekend.

Today my talented DT sister, Caroline, has asked us to use pumpkins in our challenge over at BBTB2.
I decided to make some home décor.

My canvas is 6 x 4.
I painted it with weathered wood and willow paints and added some walnut stain and spun sugar  distress ink and stencils.
My cuts were at 8" from Artbooking with the Autumn title at 5.25".

I added heirloom gold to my pumpkin.
Autumn Bronze Gilding Wax, you can click here to see my video tutorial.
Lancashire Rose Gilding Flakes, you can click here for my video tutorial.

I inked and scrunched my cuts.
Added lots of foam pads and silicone glue for dimension.

I loved how this turned out!

I know, picture heavy but they just don't do it justice!
Come and join us and see the wonderful inspiration the DT ladies have for you.

Thanks for stopping by.
