Pumpkins

Hi Everybody, hope you had a good weekend.
Thank you for all your well wishes for my son.
They ruled out kidney and definitely appendix and lymph nodes are very sore, but are doing other tests.
He's still unwell and I am awaiting a call back from the GP as I write this!
He collapsed over 8 weeks ago and for a usually fit and healthy sports mad 13 year old to be like this is not right. Obviously blogging is taking a back seat at the moment but I will call by soon. Thank you for understanding.

The lovely and talented Caroline over at BBTB2 has challenged us to use a pumpkin cut.

I used Artiste for this 3d pumpkin and cut it a few extra times, added ink and black enamel and glossy accents. I seem to love thread and pegs at the moment and if I ever get around to taking photos of tags I have been making you will see that!

I hope you will call by and see all the wonderful inspiration from the DT and link up and play along.

Thanks for stopping by.

I went with real football (lol) !

Cricut - Create a Friend 4", Art Philosophy 4.75" for card base

I popped up the little footballer with 3d foam.

Thank you for stopping  by.
Do check out all the wonderful inspiration from the DT ladies and hope you can join us this week.

BBTB2 - Gift Boxes

Hello Friends. How are you doing?
Sorry I still seem to be missing in action.
My son hasn't been well and he is in for his scan today. Thank you for all your well wishes.
Hopefully we will finally get to the bottom of things.

I finished doing my extra work hours last week...yippee! And we are off for a few days of pampering and golf in Wales later this week.

Today is my turn to host over at BBTB2 and I chose gift boxes.
I love stacked boxes that are tied up with ribbon and so that was my inspiration....

I used Sweet Tooth Boxes and cut at 7" 8" and 9" for the boxes.
I love the choice of box lids on this cricut cartridge ...I just wanted plain lids.

The ribbon is from dovecraft.

The DP is Nordic Christmas by First Edition.
I love that these only took 3 sheets of 12 x 12 paper!

Do check out all the fabulous inspiration from The DT Ladies and I hope you join in the fun with us.

Thanks for looking in.

BBTB2 - Cow Milk Carton

Happy Monday!
Hope you had a great weekend.
This week the lovely Sharon has challenged us to use a cow over at BBTB2.

I used my cricut Imagine!!!!! Wasn't even sure if this ornament still worked!
I love the cow image from Imagine More....

I cut the milk carton from TBBM2 at 6" out of acetate and added some milk bottle candy.

I had to take a piccie real quick as the boys were trying to free the candy!

Hope you like my milk carton.
Do check out all the fab inspiration from the team.

Thanks for looking.

BBTB2 - Leaves

Hi, how are you doing?
Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and we are using Fall leaves.

I cut 3 leaves at 1.75" from Artiste.
Crumpled them, inked them and added some bronze and gold gilding wax.
I machine stitched them to the card and stamped a Paper Smooches greeting.

Sorry I haven't been around...I  have had a very poorly son who is getting much better now.
I hope to get some time and catch up with you all really soon.

Thanks for dropping by, Do check out all the amazing projects from my team mates.

A very clean and simple card from me.

I used Creative cards and cut everything at 4.5".
Added some white enameling for texture.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Hi, hope you had a fab weekend.
Saturday was Hubby's birthday and yesterday was our anniversary.
Slightly less celebrating than anticipated as Ossian collapsed with stomach pains - suspected appendicitis! He's doing ok at the moment.

Today is my Dad's 80th Birthday and as you read this I will be helping throw him a party.
This week over at BBTB2 Mayra asked us to celebrate cricut and use any cut we like.
Perfect timing for my Dad's card....

The card base is 8 by 8"
I used Real Dial Size at 1.5" for my cuts from Artbooking.

Very little inking from me....shock! horror! lol!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Do check out all the fabulous inspiration from my team mates and I hope you come and join in the fun.

I hope to catch up with you this week.
Thanks for looking.

BBTB2 - Purse

Hi, how are you doing?
Long time no see!

Lots to catch up on...and we will,  but for today it's all about BBTB2.
Diana has challenged us to use a cricut cut purse.

I haven't used my cricut for 3 months (gasp!! lol) and it took a while to find my mojo.
So a very simple one from me this time. The purse is cut at  5" from Artiste and the buckle at 3.5".
It needed something extra, so I added a swipe of white acrylic paint to distress slightly. Et voila!

Check out all the creativity from my DT sisters (great to be playing alongside you Ladies again btw)
and hope you link up and join us.

See you soon and thanks for dropping by.
