Teddy Elf Tag

Wow,Friday already! Where did this week disappear to?
It's half term school holidays here in the UK and I have to say they have flown by.
My Son and I have just been out playing golf, it's cold but a beautiful bright and sunny Autumn day.
Spent all yesterday packing so it was lovely to get out today.

Miss Ruthie over at My Creative Time  is the host of The Designer Challenge and asked us to make a tag 4 x 6 or bigger and to incorporate Emma's stamps and dies.

I cut the tag at 6" on Winter Woodland which made it 4.25" wide.
I embossed the top layer and added Ranger distress crackle glaze paint  to the tree and topped off with twinklets. The little Elf Ted is cut at 3" from Teddy Bear Parade.

There's lots of dimension!Look at the cute sock monkey toy he is geting ready to send!!

Spooky altered art Halloween Box

Hi Everyone, thank you so much for all your support and kind comments and emails about my hacked accounts. It's all sorted now but I have lost all my contacts...so if you are one of my friends I chat with, drop me an email...hard lesson learnt in backing up!!

It's all taken more time and energy than it deserves but now everything is back on track I will be catching up on visiting you.

I have a project to share with you which I absolutely love.It is the altered art I was talking about at the weekend. Before I show you I have to say that it isn't my original idea. The inspiration came from Richele Christensen. Do take a minute and have a look around her blog....just awesome.

I covered a couple of cardboard boxes with papers, inks and paint.
The main stars of the show are from the new Tim Holtz Halloween Strip.

The feet are bottle caps painted.

Of course I had to add my favourite enamel!!! Black and white....yes I know I am quite obsessed with it! LOL.

My moon was embossed with a halloween Tim Holtz folder...I just used the raven part and covered in glossy accents. I used Mini Monsters for the gravestone ..sanded and inked.
Glossy accents on tomb and wording.
I added spider web and then when I was making another candy tree with my silver glitter hot glue it gave me the idea for extra webbing. It looks really cool in real life.

I made a couple of little ones too as I know a couple of friends that will want one.

I couldn't get a good photo with it lit up(even at night).

These were so much fun to make. It was good to make all 3 at the same time as I'm not very patient waiting for things to dry (thank goodness for heat guns!!). So as I  finished distressing the last one,the first was good to go with the next stage.

I think these little trick or treaters could easily be adapted for carol singers...bet you can't guess where I'm going with that?!! HeeHee.

Thanks for calling by.

Hacked email

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to post a very quick warning as it appeared this morning that my email had been hacked and a malicious email sent to all my contacts saying I was in Spain and had been mugged. Please do not respond to it, it goes to the hackers who are using an email (yahoo.co.uk), which is not me!

My normal email is hopefully working fine again now, but I have lost all of my contact info.

BBTB2 - Breast cancer Awareness

Good Morning !
The very lovely and talented Brenda is our host this week over at BBTB2 and has asked us to make a cricut project for breast cancer awareness month.

My card is simple and pretty.
I used Elegant Edges for the beautiful frame cut at 4.5".
The flowers are from Pink Journey.
I did cut a pink ribbon with my cricut but decided to go for texture with the warmth of pink velvet ribbon.

Check out all the inspiration from the DT over at BBTB2 .
Come  and play along,we love it when you do.
