My Craft Spot Valentine's Stamp Release and A Giveaway

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am excited to share some projects that I have made with the latest Valentine stamp sets,Build A Valentine and Always and Forever from My Craft Spot.
Kimberly also has a new range of twine and some fabulous bitty bags and this is where I will start... love these bags!!

I used Art Philosophy for the tag cut at 4.5"
Added twine and a ribbon.

I have a 'thing' for tags!!
This was so super simple, but love how it turned out.

I am entering it in the Pink challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces.

This card is from Life's a Party cut at 4"
I used acetate on the front for the glass of the spaceship!

My next card is an Anniversary card

The card is cut on Art Philosophy at 4.5"
The bee is from Create a Critter cut at 3.5"
DP is MME Funday
I cut out the stamped hearts for the antennae and added glossy accents.

I put my bobbin in my sewing machine incorrectly and it still worked,
it just came out as a blanket stitch..which I quite liked!

I am entering this card over at Fantabulous Cricut - Love is in the Air,use a heart.

My next set of cards are just lovely little note cards.

I used a heart die from My Creative Time to cut some calico.
Kimberly's stamps are such good quality, they stamp really well on material.
I used Tim Holtz's tiny attacher  for the staples and my mistake with my sewing machine
for the stitching!

Are you still hanging in with me?
I have one last project to share and then details of the giveaway!

This next project was a real labour of love for me. This is my son's favourite thing I made !?!

All of my projects are using  the new stamp sets from My Craft Spot and where they are for Valentine's they are so suitable for lots of different projects. I have just realised that not one of my projects is for Valentine's Day! (Do check my last post for that!!)

I covered  a polystyrene cone with Tim Holtz tissue paper.
I then cut lots of flowers from Art Philosophy and  stamped and inked them.
Then hot glued them together and attached to the cone.
Lots of heart pins later and a banner....

Kimberly from My Craft Spot. has very generously offered to give one of my followers  a My Craft Spot stamp set of their choice. All you have to do is:-

a) be a follower of my blog - JayneDesigns
b) leave a comment on this post

You have until this Sunday(midnight) to leave me a comment and I will announce the winner  on Monday. Don't forget to tell me which stamp set you would like!

Thanks for looking.

Bigger Bitty Bag

Hello, wow Thursday already! Hope you are having a great week. I just wanted to share my bigger bitty bag project with you.

Kimberly over at My Craft Spot has some great new valentine stamp sets out and a fabulous selection of bitty bags.  I am always drawn to the smallest (and I have been busy making lots of things for my guest day at My Craft Spot next week),but wanted to use one of the bigger bags. Now my fellow DT have already made some lovely things with these bags so do check out their ideas.

Mine is a treat holder, gift card holder and card all in one!

My thinking was that when I give a gift card I always think it's nice to have a little something to open as well, hence the sweeties!

Recipe
I folded the bag in half and used  my vagabond and a die to cut a window out of one side.
I put some jelly beans into a cello bag and attached with double sided tape  behind the aperture.

I cut an opening on the other half of bag. This is where the card sits.

I added a gift card with pop dots on the inside.

The tag card is from Art Philosopohy cut at 6"

I used Friends and Neighbors stamp set and ribbons all from My Craft Spot.

I think this would be a great birthday idea and plan to make more.

Thanks for stopping by.
