Got Baggage?

Hello and Happy Monday! Hope you had a good weekend. Today's challenge over at My Craft Spot is Anything Goes.

My hubby works away from time to time and I like to add a little surprise card or gift in his bag for him to stumble across! He has a very sweet tooth and is off to Scotland this week,so this is what I made to hide this time!

Shock,horror...I used my Imagine at last!  I really like how these turned out.

These were super easy to make. I used Best Friends cartridge for the bags and added twine and used Always and Forever stamp set from My Craft Spot.
Love heart sweets in one and chocolate hearts in the other!

Do check out my amazingly talented DT mates and their inspiring projects and come join in the fun!

I have a bigger bitty bag project to share later this week.

(Kimberly has the most adorable bitty bags over at My Craft Spot.)

I am entering this over at Karen's Little Scrap Pieces - use red
Thanks so much for looking.

Cake Pops!

Hi,thank you for stopping by and for all the lovely comments you have been leaving,I really appreciate them!
Thursday already,  my week is flying by. My son had his braces fitted yesterday and his mouth is a little sore at the mo!! I've also restarted my health kick with a dress size smaller as being my target!

Last week I said I would share some piccies of what I made for my Mum, a card, a banner and some cake pops. Unfortunate to have a new obsession with cake pops  when I am starting a diet!!

I was so pleased how these turned out as it was my first time of making them.....no pressure then!!

Using my Imagine at last...well,occasionally at least!!

Thanks for looking,

Imagine Fall

Hi,happy thursday. Hope you are having a great week. The weather here in the UK is unseasonably good and set to last until the weekend.

I made a card using my Imagine today!!! I've just got my hands on the Enjoy the Seasons cart and there are some beautiful images on it.

I am entering this over at Whimsical Wednesdays - to use fall colours and a handmade embellishment.
Fantabulous Cricut - Leaves are Falling

These are both great challenge blogs with an amazing DT,so do go check them out and join in the fun.

For my handmade embellishment I made a metal leaf.

I only have the above alcohol inks and decided to add more stream and butterscotch to make it greener, with hindsite I preferred it how it was.. like this! Also I could have used my promarkers or copics to colour the metal as they are alcohol inks! Brain wasn't in gear at the time! Lol!

I curled the edges and added lots of 3d foam for dimension. Added a  bit of doodling and only inked the edges on my sentiment which was from My Creative Time.
I wanted a clean look to my card so didn't ink the die cuts....which was incredibly hard for me not to do!!!
Metal leaf attached with silicone glue.

Thanks for looking and have a good day.

These are not part of the challenge but thought I would share them. To know more click here. They are in a previous post when I was making ATC's and playing with alcohol inks and Tim Holtz dies. :) They remind me of fall.

Friends

Hi,Happy Thursday. Hope you are having a wonderful week. School started yesterday and my work hours go back to normal but should manage to get some crafting in now.
Yesterday I met up with my very good friend,Kate. We haven't managed to see each other during the 6 week school hols. The rest of the year we spend alot of time together so we arranged to meet up for lunch.
I had a little gift from one of our mini trips away(Kate is a massive cupcake fan), and decided to make a quick box to give it to her in. Thought I would share this with you.

I must apologise for the picture as I (and I still don't know how) deleted the better picture of this little box on it's own!
Anyone that read my candle post will know how little I use my gypsy. Well the other thing that looks at me when I'm crafting is my Imagine. Unfortunately it's too big to hide in a drawer! Lol.
I was undecided whether I wanted one of these and over time saw fabulous creations with it and when it was on offer I took the plunge. It arrived just before school hols so haven't had much opportunity to play with it but I must have a real go. For me,I like adding the detail to my work and the Imagine feels pretty well done...I think this is my difficulty to overcome.
I digress as I thought I would cut the best friends and butterfly from it. (I still inked my images though!)

I cut the box at 4.75" from Sweet Tooth Boxes using Tim Holtz Kraft Resist card. Beautiful butterfly images.... so I thought,it turns out they are moths!

I don't think I could get it to cut like that again if I wanted too! I  assembled my best friend image on 3d foam and instead of sticking to the house it slides over the tab! Had to include the 3 bears I picked up as it reminded me of goldilocks. Enough of my ramblings!
I am entering this over at My Craft Spot - make a project for a friend.

I'd just like to thank Judy from http://craftyjar.blogspot.com/ for thinking of me and awarding me The Butterfly Award. Judy makes beautiful projects and so do visit her amazing blog.

Thrilled that my Falling for You card won over at BBTB2 and made top 5 at FCCB.

Can you tell I haven't posted much for a while?!

Have a fab day.

Snail Mail

Hi,how are you all doing? School finished yesterday,so the first day of the hols today.
Managed to grab an hour in my craft room and was showing my parents my Imagine.... and I actually made my first card with it!!

I had cut the card base and snail from Birthday Bash on my expression and decided to cut the snail on my Imagine mainly to play with the background papers. But I really liked how it turned out, so added some embossing, inking and 3d foam.

I am entering this over at My Craft Spot - challenge #18,emboss it. Thanks for looking.
Hugs,Jayne
