Love Treat Bag

Hi, hope your week is going well.
Today I am Guest Designer over at My Creative Time.
Thanks Miss Emma!

I cut the Xoxo several times and layered them together for a thicker embellishment.
The bag is a Tim Holtz die and the 'zipper' opening die is ric rac from Magnolia.

I seem to have been on a Valentine fest and will be back tomorrow with another love project! Lol!

Thanks for looking.

Smooches!

Hi ,how are you doing? Hope your week is going great.

I have a card which is very different to my usual style to share with you today, which I made to enter into Clearly Besotted's - Love challenge.

It is many years since I did CAS!! I have to say I have been experimenting and really like the results.
Hardest part for me is not inking everything!!! Lol.

I used Clearly Besotted Post It: Love stamp collection. ( I love this stamp set and it has a matching die). The stitched mat and label (love Emma's stitched dies) are from My Creative Time.

I used wink of stella clear glitter brush on the bottom lips. I love the 'smooches' sentiment!

Thanks for looking.

13 Today!

Hi, hope you've had a good week and have some fun plans for the weekend.

My little boy becomes a teenager today and I have no idea where the years go!
I have made him a special golf card ( of course!) and then realised Pan (our little dog) hadn't made him a card...and she always does!!
So this is what she came up with....

Birthday Bash for the numbers cut at 4"
Embossed, gilding wax and diamond sparkles added.
Vintage banner die, More of my Favourite Sayings, All Around Holidays(star and pressie) all from My Creative Time.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend.

And to my gorgeous son...

Happy Birthday Ossian
Love you Loads

BBTB2 - Bird

Hi, Happy Monday!
Melanie is our host this week over at BBTB2 and has asked us to use a bird cut.

I recently bought the Creative Cards cartridge and haven't had much time to play with it so I decided this was a perfect time to play.
All cuts were at 4.5" and the DP is Blank Canvas by first edition.

I added some Fran-tage chunky white embossing enamel.

I used My Creative Time's More of my Favorite Sayings for the sentiment.

I made a matching gift tag with the scraps! I must remember to try and do this more often!! Lol.

If you fly over to BBTB2,check out the amazing inspiration from my DT sisters and come and play along with us.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Jar of Birthday Wishes

For my Tim Holtz March 2013 Tag click here.

Friday already! That means it's time for another Fun Friday challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces.  The theme this week is Birthday.

My My Creative Time dies and stamps had been held hostage by customs.
I followed the clues to the whereabouts of my crafting goodies, paid the ransom note and hot footed it back to my craft room to play!!

Check out all the fab inspiration from my teamies and come and join in the fun.
Enjoy your weekend.

Tim Holtz March 2013 Tag and Blogaversary!

Hello my Friends, today is my second blogaversary!!
Thank you so much for sharing  in this  wonderful adventure with me.

I know I use my cricut for most of my projects but I also like to dabble in Tim inspired crafts too and decided to make my version of ...

Here is my bunny tag...

I loved  the texture on Tim's tag and that was the main element I really wanted to incorporate into mine...with a little dry humour thrown in!

The nib says 'thoughts' and I thought that it was perfect with the sentiment and bunny staring at the egg! I am a mind reader...lol!!

I used Rock Candy Stickles to attach the Frantage chunky enamel.
I love the lumpy explosion it creates!

All diecuts are sizzix except my little bunny and banner. The brown felt doesn't show the stitched edge detail very well in the photo. The bunny and sentiment are from My Creative Time..

Hope you like my bunny tag as much as I do.

I am entering this over at Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2013 - March
and My Creative Time - Designer Challenge - use a spring die cut.

Thanks for stopping by.

Teddy Elf Tag

Wow,Friday already! Where did this week disappear to?
It's half term school holidays here in the UK and I have to say they have flown by.
My Son and I have just been out playing golf, it's cold but a beautiful bright and sunny Autumn day.
Spent all yesterday packing so it was lovely to get out today.

Miss Ruthie over at My Creative Time  is the host of The Designer Challenge and asked us to make a tag 4 x 6 or bigger and to incorporate Emma's stamps and dies.

I cut the tag at 6" on Winter Woodland which made it 4.25" wide.
I embossed the top layer and added Ranger distress crackle glaze paint  to the tree and topped off with twinklets. The little Elf Ted is cut at 3" from Teddy Bear Parade.

There's lots of dimension!Look at the cute sock monkey toy he is geting ready to send!!

This is the base of my smaller tree.

The Trifold Card makes a perfect topper for a treat bag.
Just cut enough paper for the fold.
Anyone for Fresh Baked Mice?!!

Whimsical Calendar Days fits perfectly on the Trifold Card.
The calendar would work really well for birthdays too.
