Spooky altered art Halloween Box

Hi Everyone, thank you so much for all your support and kind comments and emails about my hacked accounts. It's all sorted now but I have lost all my contacts...so if you are one of my friends I chat with, drop me an email...hard lesson learnt in backing up!!

It's all taken more time and energy than it deserves but now everything is back on track I will be catching up on visiting you.

I have a project to share with you which I absolutely love.It is the altered art I was talking about at the weekend. Before I show you I have to say that it isn't my original idea. The inspiration came from Richele Christensen. Do take a minute and have a look around her blog....just awesome.

I covered a couple of cardboard boxes with papers, inks and paint.
The main stars of the show are from the new Tim Holtz Halloween Strip.

The feet are bottle caps painted.

Of course I had to add my favourite enamel!!! Black and white....yes I know I am quite obsessed with it! LOL.

My moon was embossed with a halloween Tim Holtz folder...I just used the raven part and covered in glossy accents. I used Mini Monsters for the gravestone ..sanded and inked.
Glossy accents on tomb and wording.
I added spider web and then when I was making another candy tree with my silver glitter hot glue it gave me the idea for extra webbing. It looks really cool in real life.

I made a couple of little ones too as I know a couple of friends that will want one.

I couldn't get a good photo with it lit up(even at night).

These were so much fun to make. It was good to make all 3 at the same time as I'm not very patient waiting for things to dry (thank goodness for heat guns!!). So as I  finished distressing the last one,the first was good to go with the next stage.

I think these little trick or treaters could easily be adapted for carol singers...bet you can't guess where I'm going with that?!! HeeHee.

Thanks for calling by.

Hacked email

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to post a very quick warning as it appeared this morning that my email had been hacked and a malicious email sent to all my contacts saying I was in Spain and had been mugged. Please do not respond to it, it goes to the hackers who are using an email (yahoo.co.uk), which is not me!

My normal email is hopefully working fine again now, but I have lost all of my contact info.

Calming Potion

Hi, Happy Wednesday blog friends!

Hope you are having a great week.

(I seemed to be stepping over papers  and clearing a tiny space to work any time I crafted!!).
And I hate mess!! Anyway done now and time to have a play.

When I ordered the Artiste cart I ordered these Halloween Potion stamps too.
I just love their captions.

Love the look of the black and white stampendous enamel. (Yes I am still totally addicted to it.)

BBTB2 Tree Challenge

Happy Monday Everyone. Hope yor weekend was good.
Today I am the host over at BBTB2.

I love Autumn and all that it brings. The cooler, crisper days and the ever changing colours of the leaves on the trees. Each day the same journey can provide such a beautiful change of scenery.
Trees are so majestical!

And that is where the challenge lies...make a project with  a tree cut from any cricut cart.
Of course with Halloween and Christmas just around the corner, there's always lots of uses for trees!

Picture removed for publication.

There are so many wonderful tree cuts on lots of different carts, but this one on Create A Critter is one of my favourites.
I used my gypsy to weld the shadow at 5" to make a shaped card.
Lots of embossing,inking,sanding and dimension.
The sentiment is from Mixed Holiday Sentiment Stamps  from My Creative Time.

Picture removed for publication.

My fellow design team ladies have some amazing projects to inspire you,so do head on over to BBTB2 and can't wait to see what you create with your tree.
