Rain Dear!

Hi,hope your week is going well. A huge warm welcome to all my followers, I hope you enjoy my blog. Can't believe I'm nearly at 100 followers, thank you.
Our weather in the UK has taken a nose dive since the weekend, (I know,no real surprises there then!!) and I can safely say that I won't need to water the plants tonight!
Thought I would play along in a couple of christmas challenges and strangely enough a  reindeer was what came to mind first! Lol.

 Card Recipe
Winter Frolic - reindeer cut at 3",doodled,inked
Scarf embossed,lights - glossy accents
Acetate embossed with sizzix snowflakes folder and attached with eyelets
Reindeer popped on 3d foam
Forever Friends stamp

The challenges I am entering him into are...
Celebrate the Occasion - #21 - Christmas in July(no red)
The Paper Variety - Christmas in July
ABC Christmas Challenge  - N is for No Nonsense(no designer papers)

I would have given him a red scarf and a red nose, but think the fuchsia worked okay. The photos don't do the acetate justice as it gives a really great shiny background and really sets off whatever image you add. You can tell I add this a lot especially for my christmas cards when I'm keeping my image simple. I save all the clear packaging off everything and it embosses great.
Have a good day,off to catch up on your blogs.

Fantabulous Cricut Guest Designer

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog. I am absolutely delighted to tell you that I am Guest Designer over at Fantabulous Cricut today. I love their site and what a great honour it is to be chosen this week, so thrilled!

The challenge this week is 'A Pool Theme' - must make a water based project. Here's my take of the animals having some 'pool fun'........
It's a step card and very easy to make. I took an A4 piece of white card and creased the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th line on my score board then folded the remainder of the card in half.

Recipe
Nate's ABCs - elephant 3.5", crocodile 2.25"
Create a Critter - hippo 2.5", water 1.25"
Everyday Paper Dolls - raindrops and splashes 2.5"
MS punch - grass
Embossing, inking and doodling
Lots of 3d foam and glossy accents
I like how this turned out and hope you do too. Do join in the fun this week over at Fantabulous Cricut. Can't wait to see what you make.

Thanks for looking, have a great week. Jayne x

Party Hat Bag

Hi,Happy Saturday! Just a quick post before I head off to do my workshop. Over at Celebrate the Occasion challenge#18 is Birthday - must have a party hat. It's a great blog and they always have a fun challenge,so check out all the inspiring DT projects.  I made this gift bag a couple of days ago, esepcially with this challenge in mind but never managed to post it! Also decided to enter over at scrappy moms stamps challenge -Sweet Treats.
Seeing as we give loot bags out to take home after a party decided why not make it a 'thank-you' at the same time.
Party hat is from doodlecharms and 'thanks ' is fom mini monograms.

                                                 A close-up to show dimension.
Will see my Dad tomorrow,he,my hubby and son are off to watch test match cricket as their Father's Day treat. Just want to say ..I Love you Dad.x And a happy Father's Day to all dads all around the world.

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by.
