Bouquet of Flowers

Happy Monday Everyone!
The start of a new week means a new challenge over at BBTB2.
Our lovely Sarah has set a Pass It On challenge.
Make something to brighten someone's day using your cricut.

Who can resist a bouquet of flowers?

I used Pink Journey for this bouquet cut at 5.5"

I stamped onto the ribbon then added it.

My fellow team mates have made some beautiful projects to brighten someone's day so do check them out. I look forward to seeing your uplifting projects too.

Thanks for stopping by.

Caravan shaped card

Hi Everyone! How are you doing?
Well the week flew along again!
But it's the weekend and I hope you all have fun things planned.

Our Fun Friday challenge this week over at Little Scrap Pieces is Shape Up!
Anything but an A2 card.

I used Wild Card 2 for this fun card cut at 4.5"
I haven't added a sentiment yet as I thought it would be great for my stash ( don't know about you but for all the cards I make I never have any on hand!!). Could be new home or holiday.

I made a different version too.

Shaped cards are always fun, check out the ladies as they have some fabulous ones to share and hope you join us in this challenge.

Have a great weekend.

Faux Porcelain Brooch

Hi Everyone, hope you had a great weekend.
Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and Melanie has asked us to use a cricut cut flower for her challenge of April Showers bring May Flowers.

I made a brooch ...

My melt pot eventually arrived so I got to play with my beeswax and UTEE.
The base of the brooch is one of the chipboard shapes that comes with Artiste.
I then cut a circle at 1.75" to fit, inked the edges and melted beeswax over it.
It gives a lovely vintage feel to it.

I cut a flower at 2.5" from Art Philosophy and leaves from Artiste.
I then melted UTEE in the melt pot and dipped them in it to make faux porcelain leaves and flower.

I added blue twine and a brooch fastener and then hot glued everything to the brooch.
Just a pearl flourish to finish.

The ladies have some awesome projects to inspire you so do check them out and hope you come and play along.

Thanks for looking.

Little Scrap Pieces - Mother's Day

Hi Everyone! Friday already so that means it's time for another challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces.
We want to see a project for Mother's Day.

Here is a gift bag I have made for my Mum with her favourite chocolates inside.

I added love and kisses for the message as Mother's Day was in March in the UK.

The glassine bag was embossed and added some hessian ribbon and crochet trim with the help of  a sewing machine.
The postcard is a stamp from Prima that I distressed a little.

Can't wait to see your projects for that special lady in your life.
Check out all the inspiration from my fellow design team sisters and come play along.

Have a great weekend.

BBTB2 For Mum

Hi Everyone, it's Bank Holiday here in the UK, so we are enjoying an extended (and sunny!) weekend.

Over at BBTB2 this week's challenge is a project for Mum.

Mother's Day was back in March here and I made my wonderful Mum a beautiful card.
I photographed it ready to share for this week but unfortunately I can't find it on the computer!

So I made a quick and easy treat container instead.

I used Artiste for the cone and flourish.
The rosette is Tim Holtz and the hessian flower is a circle cut into a flower.

I love this sentiment from My Craft Spot, it is so true!

My DT sisters have made some awesome projects so do check them out.
Hope you will come and join in the fun, just remember to use a cricut cut on your project.

Thanks for visiting.

It's a Bugs Life!

Hi, how are you doing?

It's Friday so it means it's time for another Fun Friday Challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces.
This week it is a Bug's Life! Use a bug on your project.

I used Create a Critter 2 to make this cute ladybird card at 4.5"
The paper is from Penny Black and I added a PK face.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time.

Looking forward to seeing your bugs!!!

Have a great weekend.

Art Philosophy Wedding Card

Hi, Monday already,  which means it's time for a new challenge over at BBTB2.

The lovely Julie is our host this week and has set a Wedding/Anniversary Challenge.
My brother in law, Mike, is marrying his fiancée, Tara, so I made a personalised card for them.

I used Art Philosophy for the card , cut at 6".

I decorated the back and inside.

The layers are cut at 3.25" and the letters at 1.5"
I used silicone glue for the dimension so it wouldn't show up.

The DP is J'Adore by First Edition  and is already embossed and you know I can't not ink all the edges.....I could make the card in half the time if I didn't..lol!!

Just added a sentiment from My Creative Time and a pin, twine and glossy accents.

Hopefully the Happy Couple will like it.

The DT girls have lots to inspire you so do check them out and can't wait to see your projects.

Congrats!

Hi Everyone, where did another week go?

It's time for another Fun Friday Challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces and this week the challenge is Buttons and Bows. Use at least one button and one bow on your project.

I stayed with a golfing theme...

I made this card for our son. Art Philosophy for the card, Create a Critter 2 for the green and outfit (the colours my son plays in!) . Teddy Bear Parade for the teddy bear. I wrote his age on the flag.

Karen and the girls have some fabulous projects to share so do check them out and hope you come and join us with this fun challenge.

Have a wonderful weekend.
