Hello my friendly bloggers...gasp...yes I'm posting for a third time this week.
Lol!
Well when you've picked yourself up off the floor my friends I'll show you my project.
Over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge - #202,the theme is Recycling.
Now as you all know I am a cricuteer but I still like to use other craft techniques.
This week they want to see your Penny Black image and some recycling.
Disclaimer : If my hubby asks I have no idea where the cornflakes box went to!!!
For this challenge I decided I would make a notelet set and holder.
I used the sizzix XL bag caddy die to cut the cornflake box. In the interest of taking photos to show my recycling,I then used K&Co Watercolour Bouquet paper and die cut again to mod podge to the front of my caddy. It would have been so much easier to attach paper to cardboard first and then cut!
Betsy Bluebell is the stamp image by Penny Black. The ribbon is also recycled from another project.
Even the cards are made from the box, just re-covered in paper.Glossy accents added to my image in places too. Sorry, just realised my photos are a bit blurry!
Hubby and I had a day of golf yesterday which was fantastic, just a shame it was the hottest day of the year! I always carry my bag... by the time we played again in the evening with our son,I progressed to a trolley!!
Catch up with you all soon.
Hugs

ReplyDeleteLove your Project Jayne! I promise not to tell your hubby were the corn flakes box went.... (I know nothin') LOL I do have to agree with you that I think it's easier to add the Designer paper to the cardstock first then use that die! Of course I say this only after I did the same thing with a project I had made! LOL Yours is very pretty! Have a fabulous weekend! :O)
