Man Up!

Hi Everyone, hope you had a fab weekend.
Today is my turn to host at BBTB2 and since I live in a predominantly male household and am always needing male themed cards and gifts  I chose the challenge of Man Up!
to make a bag, box or container with your cricut for that man in your life.

As you know our son is playing in the Junior Golf World Champs so I decided to go with a golf theme. We have trillions (and no...not exaggerating!!) of golf cards around the house and apparently some are too precious to throw away (and I include hubby in this!!). Problem sorted in the shape of a file folder to keep them in. I used Artiste  and cut it at 5.25" which was a perfect size for the cards.

I used TBBM2 to make a milk carton (cut at 6") and used a SU punch to make a slot before assembling. Thought this was perfect as a money box and since it is glued together the only way to get to the money is to rip it apart!

I used Life's a Party and my Gypsy for the words and Create a Critter 2 at 2" for the green.
The main paper was Bo Bunny - Noel Stripe.
Washi tape for the edging.
Lots of inking and 3D foam.
The label on the file is also Artiste at .5"

I am going to make more of these folders as I think they will look fab as a set.
I was on a bit of a role and I also made some cards but they don't fit this challenge so I will have a 'male' themed blog week!

My Design Team sisters really rose to the challenge and they have some wonderful inspiration for you so do check them out. I know you guys love a challenge too, so I can't wait to see your amazing projects.

I am entering these over at FCCB in their 3D challenge.

  1. OMGosh Jayne, what fabulous gold boxes!!! I love the milk box idea of putting funds in there and of course can't get money out without ripping box apart! So fun!!! And of course the file box for the gold cards is just awesome!! I've been wanting to make this box for a while now, but I just haven't done it. You have inspired me to just do it! The papers and washy tape you used is perfect my friend, so colorful and fun! I also love your images on the milk box! You are just too talented my friend!! Hugs!
