Faux Porcelain Brooch

Hi Everyone, hope you had a great weekend.
Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and Melanie has asked us to use a cricut cut flower for her challenge of April Showers bring May Flowers.

I made a brooch ...

My melt pot eventually arrived so I got to play with my beeswax and UTEE.
The base of the brooch is one of the chipboard shapes that comes with Artiste.
I then cut a circle at 1.75" to fit, inked the edges and melted beeswax over it.
It gives a lovely vintage feel to it.

I cut a flower at 2.5" from Art Philosophy and leaves from Artiste.
I then melted UTEE in the melt pot and dipped them in it to make faux porcelain leaves and flower.

I added blue twine and a brooch fastener and then hot glued everything to the brooch.
Just a pearl flourish to finish.

The ladies have some awesome projects to inspire you so do check them out and hope you come and play along.

Thanks for looking.
