Birthday Presents


Hi, hope you had a good weekend.
Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and our lovely Carolyn has set us the challenge of making a birthday card with a number on.
 
 
 
 
I machine stitched around the parcels. The DP has a fabric look and feel to it (although hard to see in the photo).
 
I also made another one out of different papers.... 
 
 
 
I used Birthday Bash at 5" for all cuts except the numbers which were at .5".
 
 
This was a bit of a challenge for me as I usually do shaped number cards for children, so I wanted to do something different! I did check with the birthday girls who will receive these that they didn't mind their ages on their cards!!! Hence the numbers are subtle! Lol.

    LOL, that you had to check about having the ages on the card….I have now reached the age where I'm not sure I do! Both these cards are fabulous, just beautiful papers and the stitching really adds a pow!
