Hello my lovely crafty friends. I hope you've all had a super Christmas. We had a fabulous time!

I love Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas but never found time to join in this year. He made some rosette trees and I managed to make a few and gave them as little extra gifts over our festive travels. I didn't get to photo all of them as they were made very last minute as needed, but here are 2 I would like to share just before the festive season finishes!

Recipe
Tim Holtz rosette dies in all 3 sizes
white paint
glamour dust
peg
jelly beans!!!

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope to catch up with you all really soon.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

Hi,today is a new challenge over at Scraptastic Monday. Challenge #6 is to to make a Christmas tree ornament, card or tag and it must have a Christmas ball and some bling.

We would love you to join us and use one of Cindy's fabulous digis which you can get from here but it's not a requirement.

I decided to use Cindy's Sweet Angels Set and make tree decorations. This image was so easy to use for this.

I love these digis and coloured with promarkers.Added lots of glamour dust for their halos and wings. Glossy accents on the baubles and outlined with silver krylon pen.
I added beads onto some wire I curled and a bit of tinsel ribbon.
I sandwiched the wire between front and back layers.

Check out all the beautiful ornaments over at Scraptastic Monday and I am looking forward to seeing your creations.

Have a great day.

Tree Trimming Penguin Style!

Hello,I don't seem to have had much time to craft of late, but managed to make this in between preparing tea! Now usually I can't get any decent photos in an evening but Santa has been kind enough to let me have a trial play with a present!!

I made this card for Penny Black Saturday Challenge - White Out. You can add colour to your image (which is the tree - has to be  Penny Black ).
This also fits my good friend Cindy's challenge over at Scraptastic Monday which is to use a snowman or snowflake with a Winter Wonderland scene.
I am also entering this over at Whimsical Designs #34,Winter theme, use sparkle.

Recipe
Penny Black - tree stamp - silver heat embossed
Sizzix embossing folder for background
Glitter highlights to embossing
Snowtex and glamour dust edges
Glittered white lace trim
Gems

This sparkles so beautifully next to the Christmas tree lights!

Gingerbread Milk Carton Treat Holder

Hello Everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Thank you for all your kind birthday messages you left me. I had a really fun time and was spoilt by my family and friends.

Today is challenge #4 over at Scraptastic Monday and we are to make something for Christmas and not use the colours red, green or gold. You don't have to use one of Cindy's adorable images to join in the fun but click here to check them out. They are really cute.

The image is Cindy's digi called Gingerbread Boy. I coloured with promarkers and white enamel accents for his icing. I hand cut the tag and used a MS  heart punch for the edge.

Last year I made lots of these milk cartons and filled them with chocolate to give to friends for their Christmas table. This one is filled with mini gingerbread  cookies. I did save a couple to scatter around when I took the photo, but somehow They found their way into my mouth before the photo call!!

Check out all of the talented ladies on the DT over at Scraptastic Monday and come and play.  Can't wait to see what you make.

Thanks for looking.

Mice Christmas

Hello, welcome to my blog. Wednesday already! I have had the week off work this week and have been trying to get ahead with DT projects and little makes for my son's school Christmas fayre. Will start sharing  these over the next few days.

I wanted to make a card for a  challenge this morning as it seems forever since I played in any! One of my favourite challenge blogs is over at BBTB2 and their challenge this week is Meow - Mouse Challenge. I don't have that cartridge so I used Winter Frolic for my mouse. Now this card just appeals to my sense of humour!:)

Love the look on Fluffy's face!!

Fluffy is flocked with grey, black and pink and was inked and penned before  the flock was applied.
Lots of ink and dimension.

I am also entering this over at Whimsical Wednesdays challenge which is to add texture.Lots of glitter paper, enamel and glossy accents, ribbon, twine and not to mention flock!
I used all scraps for this card.Winter Frolic for mouse,Paper Dolls Dress Up for cat and Wild Card for circle card.
My creative time for sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.Would just like to wish all my Friends who celebrate Thanksgiving a Very Happy One.

Hugs
Jayne x
