Just Because

Hi,managed to make a 'just because' card. You know,for no reason, just to say hi or so. I often send cards for no particular occasion,it's always nice to receive happy mail! Lol.

I made a monochromatic card....



The image is a Penny Black stamp,stamped with Walnut Ink distress ink and then watercoloured the lines in. Added ribbon,machine stitching,a button and a touch of glossy accents to finish.

I envisaged sepia tones and although I didn't quite achieve that, it is much prettier in real  life than my photo!

    Jayne I always get excited to come over to your blog. I just adore every single thing you make and this is NO exception:) That little girl is darling, love the stitching, and the bow. I think you did an awesome job with the sepia tones. I think it is probably impossible to get it to look exactly like those sepia photos I have seen, but you came darn close.     Oh gosh, how beautiful is this? :o) I LOVE monochromatic cards and when you use a sweet image like adorable Penny Black design, it's impossible not to adore it. Your inking is gorgeous, as are the button, sewing, and fabulous ribbon!
