BBTB2 Telephone Baby!

Hi,how are you doing?
I've had a busy time decorating and still have my floor to finish. And oh boy...do I ache!
Lots of small spaces to get into!!

Over at BBTB2 we have a new challenge. Brenda,my friend and talented DT sister is our host and asked us to use the card feature on a cricut cart of our choice.

My card is cut at 4.5" from Wild Card 2.
Just a little embossing and paint added for definition.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time.

I think this old telephone cut would be better in a pretty/shabby DP.
With so much e-technology it's great but sometimes you can't beat a good old chat!

Do check out all the amazing and varied cards from the Design Team and I look forward to seeing yours.

Thanks for looking.

Big Hugs

Handmade Embellishments!

Hello Everyone,welcome to Jayne Designs.
Well, where did the week go? Do you have fun plans for the weekend?
I am still on decorating duty and plan to tile the utility floor this weekend. Hubby is going to be my labourer! Then the builder can return to do the plumbing.
Today is a new Fun Friday challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces. Our DT sister,Carri, is sponsoring this challenge which is to include a handmade embellishment on your project.
I went a little OTT with the handmade elements!!!

The card is from Art Philosophy.
The doily and sentiment are from My Creative Time
The pin is handmade by me as is the felt flower.
I cut a leaf from green hessian and added a skittle from Carri.

Hope you can join us in this fun challenge.

Bring on the Bunnies!!

Happy Monday Everyone. Hope you had a fab weekend.

Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and the ever so lovely Suzanne has asked us to make a project with a cricut cut bunny.

My little guy is from Create a Critter 2...

He was cut at 3" and the eggs at 1".
I used my super easy tent fold card for this card and added  some embossing and a MS grass punch.
The sentiments are from Happy Easter from My Craft Spot.

I have a video showing you how to make a quick and easy tent fold card. If you haven't seen it and would like to check it out, click here.

I added an extra fold to attach my bunny to.

I love that this is so dimensional but folds flat for posting.

The Ladies have outdone themselves with some extra bouncy bunny projects  so be sure to check them out. Can't wait to see your bunnies too!

Hugs

A Jar of Birthday Wishes

For my Tim Holtz March 2013 Tag click here.

Friday already! That means it's time for another Fun Friday challenge over at Little Scrap Pieces.  The theme this week is Birthday.

My My Creative Time dies and stamps had been held hostage by customs.
I followed the clues to the whereabouts of my crafting goodies, paid the ransom note and hot footed it back to my craft room to play!!

Check out all the fab inspiration from my teamies and come and join in the fun.
Enjoy your weekend.

Tim Holtz March 2013 Tag and Blogaversary!

Hello my Friends, today is my second blogaversary!!
Thank you so much for sharing  in this  wonderful adventure with me.

I know I use my cricut for most of my projects but I also like to dabble in Tim inspired crafts too and decided to make my version of ...

Here is my bunny tag...

I loved  the texture on Tim's tag and that was the main element I really wanted to incorporate into mine...with a little dry humour thrown in!

The nib says 'thoughts' and I thought that it was perfect with the sentiment and bunny staring at the egg! I am a mind reader...lol!!

I used Rock Candy Stickles to attach the Frantage chunky enamel.
I love the lumpy explosion it creates!

All diecuts are sizzix except my little bunny and banner. The brown felt doesn't show the stitched edge detail very well in the photo. The bunny and sentiment are from My Creative Time..

Hope you like my bunny tag as much as I do.

I am entering this over at Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2013 - March
and My Creative Time - Designer Challenge - use a spring die cut.

Thanks for stopping by.

Shamrock

Good Morning, hope you had a great weekend.

Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2 and the very lovely Brenda had asked us to use a cricut cut shamrock.

My cuts were all from Create a Critter 2.
The sentiment I wanted to add is sat at the Post Office as my parcel was stopped by customs!!
So will add it when I've paid the ransom note!

Hope you like my cheeky chappie worm. There's lots of inspiration awaiting  you over at BBTB2 so do check it all out and hope you come play along.

I will be by to catch up with you all this week. Our builders are back so slightly chaotic here again!
