Hi Everybody, hope you had a good weekend.
Thank you for all your well wishes for my son.
They ruled out kidney and definitely appendix and lymph nodes are very sore, but are doing other tests.
He's still unwell and I am awaiting a call back from the GP as I write this!
He collapsed over 8 weeks ago and for a usually fit and healthy sports mad 13 year old to be like this is not right. Obviously blogging is taking a back seat at the moment but I will call by soon. Thank you for understanding.
The lovely and talented Caroline over at BBTB2 has challenged us to use a pumpkin cut.
I used Artiste for this 3d pumpkin and cut it a few extra times, added ink and black enamel and glossy accents. I seem to love thread and pegs at the moment and if I ever get around to taking photos of tags I have been making you will see that!
I hope you will call by and see all the wonderful inspiration from the DT and link up and play along.
Thanks for stopping by.
I will definitely keep your son in my prayers. I hope he gets back to feeling like himself really soon. I love your 3d pumpkin and the glitzy paper that you picked for it. Love that you used a clothes pin for the stem. You always rock 3d projects!
ReplyDeleteI am keeping you and your son in my prayers, Jayne. I hope they are able to diagnose him soon so he can get better. Your pumpkin is adorable!! I love the clothes pin stem!! It looks fabulous!! Awesome as always!! Thinking of you and praying for good news soon. Huge hugs :)

Cute pumpkin, Jayne. I like the clothespin, too. You will all be in my prayers. I'm assuming they are checking for odd infections from his travels abroad. I hope they find something soon so they can fix it. Blessings
ReplyDeleteYour son comes first Jayne and you don't need to worry about visiting us! It important to find out what is going on with him. No an active 13 year old doesn't collapse for no reason or have sore areas in his body!! I pray that they find what is going on with him and that it can be dealt with. Praying for his recovery my friend. Now I do love your sweet 3D pumpkin! The black enamel is awesome on it!! Take care my friend and take care of that son of yours, we will do the praying!!! Big hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteSending up prayers for your son Jayne! Praying that they find out what is going on and can fix it asap!!

not knowing what's wrong is excruciating. I was just through that with my adult daughter last year, and she did not get a diagnosis. But all is well
ReplyDeleteadorable pumpkin, especially the adornments. I want to make this one for Thanksgiving and put them around the dinner table.
